Gaviscon Double Strength brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion.
Gaviscon quickly soothes the burning sensation and helps keep digestive acid in the stomach where it should be.

Gaviscon Double Strength works in two ways to effectively relieve symptoms of both heartburn and indigestion.
1) Neutralises excess stomach acid.
2) Forms a protective barrier over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe).
Active Ingredients:
Sodium alginate 1000mg, calcium carbonate 200mg, potassium bicarbonate 200mg
Directions / How to Use
Adults and children over 12 years: 5-10ml.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Take as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day or as directed.
If symptoms persist see your doctor.
Discard product 3-6 months after opening.
Gaviscon Double strength works in two ways to effectively relieve the symptoms of both heartburn and indigestion.
1) The sodium alginate in Gaviscon Dual Action begins to form a thick layer (known as a raft) on top of the stomach contents once it makes contact with the stomach acid. The raft acts as a strong physical barrier and helps to keep stomach contents in the stomach where they belong and not in the food pipe where they hurt.
2) The antacid neutralises excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort of indigestion.
Other Information:
Does not contain aluminium, sugar or gluten.
The maximum total daily intake (40ml) for adults contains 424mg of sodium (take into account if on a low sodium diet).
Contains hydroxybenzoates and saccharin.
Store below 30°C in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
