Clinicians Antibiotic Support Probiotics 20 Capsules

Specific probiotics to help support the side effects of antibiotics and support healthy gut flora.

What do I use it for?
Helps manage side effects caused by antibiotics

It is shelf stable in a special Alu-Alu blister, so suitable for travel.

How does it work?
The specific probiotic strains Clinicians use are well researched for supporting the body with antibiotic use.
Beneficial bacteria may be reintroduced into the digestive tract to help keep good bacterial balance, so less beneficial organisms have less opportunity to grow and proliferate.

Directions:
Adolescents and Adults: One to two capsules daily.
Take 1 capsule morning and night two hours after taking antibiotics.
After completion of antibiotics, take 1 capsule daily for gut health. Can be taken without food.

Precautions and Contraindications:
As with most probiotics, the organisms in Clinicians Antibiotic Support Probiotics are cultured on a milk powder base.
Scientific analysis of the final cultured product has confirmed that levels of lactose are less than 0.006%

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Both Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 and Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12 are suitable to take during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side Effects:
Lactobacilli and bifidobacteria have been used for decades and are considered well tolerated.

Warning:
Consult your health professional before use with the following medical treatments or procedures:
Radiation therapy
Recent oral or GI surgery (particularly short bowel loop)
Immunosuppressant medication

Drug Interaction:
Antibiotics – take at least two hours after antibiotics to protect the LA-5 and BB-12 strains from being destroyed by the antibacterial action of the medication.
